Grilled Mediteranian stuffed artichoke patties

Ingredients

1 Pound freshly ground pork
1 Hard boiled egg
1 bunch of fresh parsley
1 tablespoon sea salt
1 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper
1 teaspoon crushed red peppers
4 slices of Italian bread cubed
1/4 cup fresh grated Romano cheese
1 raw egg lightly beaten
1 clove fresh crushed garlic
1 can of artichoke hearts 14 ounces
2 tablespoons butter
Toppings
1 Vidalia onion sliced
red leaf lettuce
beef steak tomato sliced
4 kaiser buns buttered and toasted

 

Instructions

Prepare a medium-hot fire in a charcoal grill with a cover, or preheat a gas grill to medium-high To make the patties, combine into a large mixing bowl,fresh ground pork,egg slightly beaten,fresh grated romano cheese,4 slices of fresh Italian bread cubed,crushed fresh garlic, take parsley break by hand into 1 inch pieces including the steams,1 tablespoon sea salt,1 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper,1 teaspoon crushed red peppers,mix well,open 14 ounce can of artichoke hearts in seperate cup drain juice and save,cube the artichoke hearts into 1 inch pieces add to mix, peel 1 hard boiled egg diced and add to mix, mix well adding only enuogh artichoke juice to make the mix workable. Take mixture and seperate into 4 even balls, shape into patties to cover the buns,place directly onto the grill cover checking in 3-4 minutes turn patties over grill for additional 3-4 minutes. while patties are grilling take and butter the Kaiser buns place on a upper rack until lightly toasted. Take your toasted kaiser buns add onto the bottom bun,lettuce,sliced beef steak tomato,sliced vidalia onion,top with Mediteranian artichoke stuffed patties. Makes 4 burgers
