Instructions

Directions. 1. Preheat Grill to 375 degrees. 2. In a medium bowl, add the mayonnaise, Gorgonzola, maple syrup and Bloody Mary Seasonings. Gently mix until well blended. Place in refrigerator until needed. 3. On a large plate, spread crushed potato chips. Separate the pub buns. Brush olive oil onto the inside of each bun. Take each bun and gently press the olive oil side down onto the crushed potato chips. Do this for each bun. Place on a tray to be taken to the grill. 4. In a large bowl, add the ground beef, Merlot and Bloody Mary Seasonings. Gently mix with your hands until all ingredients are blended. To form six stuffed burgers, start by forming twelve patties. Divide the Gorgonzola into the center of six patties. Cover with the remaining patties and gently press the edges together. On a large plate, add the crushed potato chips. Take each burger and set down in the potato chips to cover. Also roll the edges of the burger. Do this for all burgers. Place on a tray to take to the grill. 5. After brushing the grill with oil, Place 6 patties and close lid. Cook for 4 – 41/2 minutes. Then flip and cook for an additional 4 minutes or until desired doneness. Do your best not to fuss with the burgers, or the potato chips might fall off. 6. Remove burgers and set aside. Lower heat to 200 degrees. Add buns, potato chip side down for approximately 20-30 seconds. Remove from heat. 7. Assemble burgers. Take all buns and add mayonnaise mixture. On the bottom buns, add a burger, lettuce and tomato. Cover with a top bun. For fun, add a drink umbrella with an olive stuck on it! Enjoy!
