Heart Healthy Toful Burger
Ingredients
1 oz. piece firm tofu
4 oz. piece firm tofu
1 medium carrot, grated
1 minced yellow onion
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup prepared mustard
6 tablespoons tamari
1/2 tbs. lemon juice
2 tbs. Sutter Home Chardonnay
4 tbs dried parsley
2 tbs chili powder
2 tbs. paprika
2 tbs. basil
2 tbs garlic powder
2 tsp salt
3 cups Italian breadcrumbs
Instructions
Process 1 oz piece of tofu in a food processor until smooth. Grate remaining tofu and combine all tofu with remaining ingredients. If needed you may add more or less bread crumbs to make the mixture firm enough to shape. Shape into patties. Place on top lightly oiled perforated aluminum foil and grill on medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
