Holly’s Hot Burger’s with a Kick

2 lbs 80% Lean Ground Beef
1 lb Ground Spicy Chorizo Sausage
2 tbsp Minced Garlic
1 tbsb Fresh Cracked Pepper
1 tbsp Onion Powder
1 tbsp Kosher Salt
2 tbsp Ground Cumin
3 tbsp Ground Corriander
2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 lbs Cotija Cheese
Cream Cheese Kick Spread
1 package (8 oz) Cream Cheese (Room Temperature)
2 tbsp Fresh Chopped Cilantro
3 tbsp Fresh Chopped Jalapeno's
2 tbsp Cholula Hot Sauce
6 Fresh Telera Rolls
Olive Oil



Preheat grill to a medium high heat. Patties Combine ground beef, sausage, garlic, pepper, onion powder, salt, cumin, corriander and worcestershire sauce. Make 12 patties, about 4 inches in diameter and not thicker than 1/4 of an inch. Slice cotija cheese 1/4 inch thick. Put 2 slices of cotija cheese in middle of patty then add another patty on the top. Turn patties while pinching edges together until they are sealed. Combine cream cheese, cilantro, Cholula and jalapeno's. Set aside. Using olive oil, brush grill lightly. Grill patties for 6 minutes on each side. When burgers are finished, let rest. Toast telera rolls on gril for 1 minute or until lightly crisp. Spread cream cheese spread on the top half of each roll, put the burger on the roll and enjoy!
