Itailian Mushroom/Onion Burger

Bright and full-bodied, this Zinfandel wine is a curious contradiction in tastes.


1 lb lean ground chuck
1 cup fresh mushrooms
1 small to medium onion
1-2 tablespoons Italian Dressing
Salt & Pepper to taste
Blue cheese, optional



Preheat grill to medium-high. Saute mushrooms & onions in 1-2 tablespoons of your favorite italian salad dressing until tender. In a mixing bowl, place hamburger, salt, pepper, & crumbled blue cheese. When cool enough to handle, mix the italian mushrooms & onions into the seasoned hamburger. Form hamburger into 4 large patties, Grill to desired doneness.
