Reach for our Chardonnay when you’re in the mood for a rich and creamy wine that delights with the fruity flair of pear, apple, and peach.


2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons olive oil
1/4 cup Chardonnay (or dago white)
1 medium green pepper finely chopped
1 medium red pepper finely chopped
1 medium onion finely chopped
1 egg
2 lbs ground beef

6 large ciabatta buns, split
6 leaf lettuce leaves
6 (1/4-inch-thick) large tomato slices


Prepare a medium-hot fire in weber charcoal grill or preheat a gas grill to medium-high.

Put all ingredients (except beef, buns, lettuce, tomatos) in large bowl. Stir to mix well. Add beef and knead carefully to incorporate.
Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and form the portions into patties.

When the grill is ready, place the patties on the rack, cover, and cook, turning once, until done to preference, 5 to 7 minutes on each side for medium.

On each ciabatta roll bottom, place a lettuce leaf, a patty, a tomato slice. Add the roll tops and serve.

Makes 6 burgers
