Italian Sausage Burgers

With strawberry and melon essences, this American original is perfectly at home with however you like to unwind.


1 pound mild Italian sausage meat
1/2 pound hot Italian sausage meat
1 small onion chopped
1 small red bell pepper chopped
6 ciabatta rolls
1 jar of prepared bruschetta mix



1. Heat grill to a medium heat. 2. Mix first 4 ingredients in a large mixing bowl until well blended. 3. Shape into 6 burgers. 4. Place patties onto grill and cook for approximately 6-7 minutes on each side till well done. 5. Split ciabatta rolls in half and place a burger on each roll. 6. Top each burger with prepared bruschetta mix. 7. Close roll and serve.
