Italian Wonders
Ingredients
1# ground chuck
1-1/2 Tbls. tomato paste
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. dried basil
garlic salt & fresh cracked pepper to taste
Provolone cheese slices
Fresh Basil leaves
Fresh sliced vipe ripe tomatoes
Parmesan Foccacia Bread
Olive oil
garlic butter
Instructions
Pre-heat grill. Mix burger and next 5 ingredients together. Form 3-1/3 lb. or 4-1/4 lb. burgers into patties. Brush clean grill grate with olive oil and cook burgers to desired doneness. Top with provolone cheese slices and let melt. Slice foccacia bread into proper sizes, may need to remove a small amount from center if too thick, brush with garlic butter and toast lightly on grill. Place one burger on a bread/bun, top with fresh basil leaves (in place of lettuce) and a fresh ripe tomato slice, enjoy! Can substitute marinara for catsup.
