This rich red easily complements your homemade chicken dishes, red meats, game, and mildly seasoned pastas.


1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
1 egg
1/2 cup Progresso Italian Bread Crumbs
1 clove garlic crushed
1 tbs. Italian Seasoning
2 tbs. Tabasco Garlic Pepper Sauce
6 slices provolone sliced thick
6 Italian Seeded Rolls



Prepare an open grill on medium heat.

For the burgers, in a large bowl, combine ground chuck, egg, bread crumbs, garlic, Italian seasoning and garlic pepper sauce. Shape mixture into 6 patties.

Brush the grill rack with oil. Grill patties over medium heat until cooked through.

During the last minute of cooking, top each burger with a slice of cheese.

Open rolls and butter insides. Toast on grill until warm and lightly browned. Place patties on bun bottoms.

Serve with Sutter Home White Merlot. Enjoy!
