No one would ever guess that dried blueberries make this burger the smoothest thing.

Ingredients:

PATTY INGREDIENTS:

2 lbs ground chuck

1/4 dried blueberries

1/2 cup Maytag blue cheese ( or blue cheese)

1 tsp sea salt

1 tsp fresh ground pepper

FIXINGS & BUNS

1/2 cup sliced onion rings

2 cup fresh spinach

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper

12 thin slices of brie cheese

1 cup aioli sauce

6 kaiser rolls ( cornmeal crusted preferred)

Instructions:

In a large bowl combine all of the patty ingredients and thoroughly mix together. Form into 6 even patties and set aside.

Meanwhile preheat your gas grill or arrange coals to medium heat on charcoal grill.

In a saucepan over the grill combine the olive oil and warm. Add the onion slices, spinach, salt and pepper. Cook until wilted. Remove from heat and set aside.

Place patties on grill and cook to medium, turning only once. About 5-7 minutes on each side.

The last 3 minutes of cooking, equally spread 2 slices of brie cheese over each patty and allow to melt.

On the outer edges of the grill toast the kaiser rolls for 1-2 minutes.

Assemble burgers by spreading equal amounts of the aioli sauce on both the top and bottom sides of the bun.

Place the patty on top and add the wilted spinach mixture. Top with the remaining bun and enjoy!!
