Korean Beef Bulgogi Burgers

3 cloves Garlic chopped
3 T. Ginger chopped finely
3.T. Soy sauce
1 sm. Onion diced
3 T. Sesame oil
1.T. Rice wine
1 T. sugar
1 T.chili pepper flakes
3/4 lb. ground sirloin
3/4 lb. ground chuck
1 T. salt oil for grill sauce
1T vietnamese chili sauce
1T sugar
3T soy sauce
1T rice wine
sweet hawaiian rolls
shredded napa cabbage
shredded carrots



1.dissolve sugar in rice wine. 2.mix wine mixture together with garlic, ginger, soy sauce, onion, sesame oil, pepper flakes. 3.mix whole mixture together with ground chuck and sirloin. add salt. mix, but do not overmix. 4.let sit for 15 minutes. 5. patty 6 burgers 6. cook for 4 minutes on grill heated to 500 degrees. 7. flip burgers with a well greased spatula 8. cook on other side to desired temp (med rare:145, med 160, well 170) sauce 9. mix together sauce ingredients, set aside (chili sauce, sugar, soy and rice wine) 10. toast buns on grill 11. assemble burgers: bun, burger patty, 1T sauce, top with shredded napa cabbage and shredded carrots
