Kyle’s Ultimate Brunch Burger
Ingredients
- 2 Pounds 80/20 chuck
- 6 slices bacon
- 6 potato buns
- 2 tablespoons fresh coffee grounds
- 1 Tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 + 1 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 Tablespoon salt
- 1 1/2 Teaspoon cayenne
- 1 1/2 Teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 Teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon water
- 6 slices thick sliced cheddar cheese
Instructions
- 1.
- In a large bowl mix hamburger, garlic powder, coffee grounds, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, salt, cayenne, paprika and worcestershire sauce.

- Form 6 patties and lay to the side
- 3.
- In a small bowl mix 1/2 Cup brown sugar, 1/2 Teaspoon black pepper and 1/2 Teaspoon water
- 4.
- Place bacon in mixture, covering both sides
- 5.
- Cook burgers for 5-6 minutes on each side, per half inch of thickness, or when your thermometer reads 160 fahrenheit
- 6.
- While burgers are cooking, spray pan with cooking spray and start cooking the bacon slices, until crisp on both sides, adding more of brown sugar mixture as needed
- 7. Butter potato buns and place on grill for 1 minute
- 8.
- Add the cheddar cheese slices on burgers until melted
- 9.
- Place burgers on the buns and top with the candied bacon
- 10. Watch your friends enjoy the fruits of your labor
