Lemon-Lime Zesty Burgers w/zesty Onions

1lb Ground Sirloin
1 lime
1 lemon
4 garlic cloves(finely chopped)
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp hot sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Extra Virgin Olive Oil(EVOO)
1 sweet onion
swiss chesse (4 slices)
Kaiser rolls



Take your fresh ground sirloin and add the zest of half of lime and the zest of half a lemon,add chopped garlic, add cumin,tabasco,salt and pepper to taste. Mixup meat throughly then add juice of half lime and lemon mix meat again, cover and put in refrig for 20 mins. Take from refrigerator and make burger patties about an inch thick , set aside on plate while you prepare the onions. Take one onion slice to make rings, put in bowl and add the zest and juice from the other half of the lemon and lime,let sit until ready to grill. Now add burgers to grill and and cook to medium consistenancy. While burgers are grilling ,take a non-stick skillet and add EVOO to pan ,heat and add onions ,salt and pepper to taste ,cover and cook till liquid is gone and onions are slighty brown. O.K. get your buns ready take Kaiser rolls and wipe inside of rolls with EVOO and place on grill to toast, at this point place swiss cheese on burgers ,top off with onions and transfer to rolls and enjoy.
