Les Hamburgers des Anges (Hamburgers of the Angels)

1. two pounds of ground sirloin
2. 1/2 bermuda onion, finely chopped
3. 1 T. chopped sun-dried tomatoes
4. 1 T. chopped roasted red peppers
5. 2 T. low-sodium soy sauce
6. 4 T Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard
7. 1/3 C. Sutter Home Merlot
8. 2 T. Worcestershire sauce
9. Fresh California Avocado
10. Crumbled Bleu Cheese
11. lettuce
12. sliced Vidalia onion
13. fresh, vine-ripened tomatoes
14. sesame/onion hamburger buns
15. Colavita Extra-Virgin Olive Oil



Gently combine the first eight ingredients in a large bowl, forming into six generous patties. The less handling, the more tender the burgers will be. Saute each hamburger in olive oil, on medium, to sear the outside for three minutes per side. Then turn and cover another minute or so until each burger is cooked medium-well, or cooked to individual tastes or "done-ness." Top each burger with crumbled cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato, and place gently on the bun, upon which you have placed desired slices of avocado
