1 tsp fresh ground pepper
about 4 tbsp of olive oil
6 slices of sharp cheddar cheese
vegetable oil for greasing
6 potato rolls

Instructions

To make the sour cream spread, start by chopping 1 cup of chives in a food processor. In a bowl combine sour cream and softened cream cheese, mix well with a fork. Add half the cup of chives (save the rest for the patties) and the salt to mixture and stir well. Set aside in a cool area.

Heat gas or charcoal grill on high
Place a fire safe skillet on the grill and let heat for a few minutes. Add the slices of bacon. Cook until crispy. Remove from heat and place on a paper towel lined plate. Set aside

To make potatoes place fire safe pot on the grill and add 3 cups of vegetable oil and allow oil to heat for few minutes. Make sure the oil is hot enough by testing with 1 slice of potato, the oil should bubble instantly. Add poato slices to oil and cook until all over a golden light brown. Remove from oil and place on a paper towel lined plate. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Set aside

To make the patties start by chopping a medium onion in the food processor. In a large bowl add ground turkey, the chopped onion, the other 1/2 cup of chopped chives, 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp fresh ground pepper, and 4 tbsp of olive oil mix well. Form patties.

Place patties on high heated grill and cook for 5 minutes on the first side. Flip patties and cook for another 5 minutes on other side. Lower the heat to med-high and cook for about 5 more minutes or until patties are just cooked all the way through. Add cheese 2-3 minutes before removing patties (keep lid shut to melt faster). Cut rolls and place inside grill facing down for only a minute just to warm them. Remove patties and rolls.

To assemble spread a small amount of the sour cream spread on the bottom half of the roll. Place a pattie on top of sour cream spread. Add 2 slices of bacon on top of the pattie. Then place enough potato slices on top to cover bacon. Spread some more sour cream mixture on the top of the roll and place on top of potatoes.
