1/4 cup pineapple juice from 20-oz can of sliced pineapple in its own juice
1.5 lbs 7% fat ground beef
2 tsp Grill seasoning
2.5 oz canned dry-roasted salted macadamia nuts
6 oz picnic style ham
1 16-oz round Hawaiian sweet bread
6 round slices of pineapple from 20 oz can( there are more slices left over)

Instructions

Mix pineapple juice with the ground beef in bowl. Add the grill seasoning and work both in with hands. Chop Macadamia nuts coarsely enough that pieces are smaller than halves, but still chunky. Mix into ground beef with hands. Cube picnic-style ham into 1/4 inch pieces; mix into ground beef mixture with hands. Divide ground beef mixture into 6 equal portions; form 6 round patties that are 3-1/2 inches from edge to edge.

Grill on high setting of gas grill for 7 minutes on each side, flipping once. Internal temperature on meat thermometer placed in center of burger after taking off the grill should read 160 degrees F.

Slice round Hawaiian sweet bread into 6 pie-shaped wedges. Slit each wedge in the middle. Put a cooked burger patty on each wedge, and top the patty with one round of sliced pineapple. Enjoy!
