1 teaspoon black pepper
9 slices Hormel Maple Bacon, cooked and drained
1 large vidalia onion, sliced
1 187ml bottle Sutter Home White Zifendal wine
2 tablespoons olive oil
6 slices provolone cheese
6 Kaiser rolls
2 tablespoons melted butter
6 teaspoons Kraft Hot and Spicy Mayonnaise

Instructions

In large mixing bowl, combine sirloin, apples, salt, and pepper. Form into 6 hamburger patties and refrigerate for one hour.
Remove patties from refrigerator, and preheat gas grill to medium-high heat.
In a fry pan, cook and drain bacon. Break pieces in half, cover, and set aside. In a saute pan, stir together onions and wine. Cook until onions are tender and all liquid is gone. Remove pan from heat, cover, and set aside. Reduce gas grill heat to medium. Brush burger with olive oil and place on grill. Grill 5 minutes, flip, and grill an additional 5 minutes. Remove burgers from heat, top each with 3 pieces of bacon, onion mixture, and slice of provolone cheese. Brush rolls with melted butter and toast buns on grill. Spread 1/2 teaspoon of mayonnaise on each side of bun, add burger creation, and enjoy.
