Mama-meeah That’s a Spicy Burger

Ingredients

2/3 c Tomato Paste
1 clove Garlic, finely chopped
1/2 c Cottage Cheese
2 tb Lite Mayo
3/4 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
1/4 ts Basil Leaves, finely chopped
1 ts Oregano, finely chopped
1 ts dried Parsley
1/4 c Formaggio Mozzarella Cheese
2 tb shredded Parmesan Cheese
1 lb Ground Beef (1 tube)
1/2 lb Italian Sausage (1/2 tube)
Vegetable Oil Spray for grill
5 Potato Bread Hamburger Buns
A handful of fresh Parsley for garnishes

 

Instructions

Step 1: Mix the Tomato Paste, Garlic, Cottage Cheese,Miracle Whip Lite, Salt, Pepper, Basil Leaves, Oregano, and dried Parsley in a bowl. After thoroughly mixing, measure 2/3 cups of this mixture and place it in a separate bowl. Set it aside. Step 2: Add Mozzarella Cheese and Parmesan Cheese to the original Tomato Paste mixture and place it in a non-stick sauce pan on Low. Cover and leave it on the burner until burgers are done. Step 3: Add the Ground Beef and Owens Italian Sausage to the 2/3 cup of the prepared Tomato Paste mixture you had set aside. Blend these ingredients thoroughly. Form into 5 burgers about 3/4 inch thick. Step 4: Spray the grill with vegetable oil before grilling. Make sure you have a HOT fire and the coals are ready. Step 5: Grill the burgers for 13 minutes or until desired doneness has been reached, turning occasionally. Step 6: Toast the buns. Step 7: Ensure the Tomato Paste mixture is hot then place a large dollop of the Tomato Paste mixture on the buns before placing the burgers on them. Step 8: Plate and garnish the 5 hamburger plates with the fresh Parsley. Step 9: Serve.
