Manly Stuffed Burger

Bright and full-bodied, this Zinfandel wine is a curious contradiction in tastes.


2 lbs of beef
1/2 cup worcestershire sauce
2 tb spoons of butter
11/4 cups herb seasoned stuffing mix crush to 3/4 cup
1 beaten egg
1-3oz can chopped mushrooms drained 1/2 cup
1/3 cup beef broth
1/4 cup chopped almonds
1/4 cup snipped parsley
l tsp lemon juice
1 tsp salt



In medium saucepan, melt butter. Remove from heat. Add stuffing mix, egg ,mushrooms, beef broth, onion, almonds, parsley, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.Combine ground beef and salt. Divide meat into burger size lumps. Spoon mixture into each lump, making sure none is sticking out.Put patties on well greased grill basket. Grill over medium coals about 10 to 12 minutes on each side or until done . Serve with warmed catsup on soft warm bun. Yum !Yum!
