Mary’s Awesome Burgers

Every pour of our Pinot Noir brings you a delicious blend of berry flavors and the romantic aroma of violet.


1/4 tsp. Grey Poupon dry mustard
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper a pinch of salt (optional)
1 c. pulverized Sourdough Pretzels
1/4 c. chopped fresh basil
1/4 tsp. parsley
3 garlic cloves, peeled
1/4 large Vidallia Onion
1/4 c. Sutter Home Dry Red Wine
1/8 c. beef stock
2 eggs
1 pound lean ground beef



In a large mixing bowl, combine 1st three ingredients, set aside. In food processor bowl, combine all ingredients except eggs & meat til ground. Add all to large mixing bowl, including eggs and meat. Mix well by hand. Shape into 6 patties. Preheat grill 350F with foil lined racks brushed with extra virgin olive oil. Grill 5-8 min. per side. While burgers are cooking, slice red pepper and brush with extra virgin olive oil, lightly salted & peppered & placed on grill, turning until tender. Slice 6 Kaiser's rolls and place on grill for 2 min. Serve on roll with hamburger, then grilled red peppers (3-4 slices), 1 slice of lettuce, and 1 slice of Big Boy tomato.
