Preheat a gas grill to medium-high.

To make the patties, combine all of the ingredients accept for 2 cups of the bread crumbs in a large bowl. Get as much crab meat juice as possible into the bowl. Mix well. Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and form the portions to be about the same diameter of the bread. Take a shallow pan and put the 2 cups of bread crumbs in it. Lightly coat each patty with the bread crumbs. Set aside.

To make the sauce combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Add to a large fireproof non-stick skillet and cook on the grill for 3 minutes. Set aside.

To prepare the bread combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
After the loaves of bread have been split use a brush to equally distribute the mixture from the bowl onto the halves. Set aside.

When the grill is ready, brush the grill rack with Colavita extra virgin olive oil. Place the patties on the rack, cover, and cook about 3 minutes. Turn the patties. Put equal portions of the sauce on each pattie, cover, and cook about 6 minutes. During the last minute of cooking, place each half loaf of bread, cut side down, on the outer edges of the rack to toast evenly and lightly.

To assemble the burgers, on each bread bottom, place a patty. Add the bread tops and serve.
