Merlot Beef Burger

1 ½ lbs 85% Ground Beef
1 teaspoon of salt
16 to 24 Saltine Crackers
6 to 8 oz of Sutter Home Merlot
4 large table spoons of Finely Chopped Sweet Vidalia Onion
4 large table spoons Finely Chopped Green Pepper
4 to 6 wheat Buns
2 to 3 large sliced tomatoes
4 to 6 teaspoons of Mustard
4 to 6 teaspoons of ketchup
4 to 6 leafs of lettuce



Take the fresh ground beef and place on a wood cutting board and sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt over the ground beef. Take the 16 to 24 saltine crackers and smash with a rolling pin on a separate cutting board or prep area and place the saltine crackers in a small bowl and mix in the 6 to 8 oz of merlot and then knead or fold the moist crackers into the ground beef and then fold or knead in the fine chopped Sweet Vidalia Onion and then do the same with the finely chopped green pepper. Make 4 to 6 patties and place on grill and cook to medium-well do not let the burger get burn. Place on bun with sliced tomatoes and mustered and ketchup and place one small leaf of lettuce and then place the top of bun to make the perfect burger and serve.
