Mex Burger
Ingredients
1 ½ Pounds of 95% Lean Ground Beef
½ Tablespoon Garlic Salt
¼ Tablespoon Black Pepper
1 Tablespoon Ground Cumin
2 2.25 oz Cans of Green Chilies Chopped and drained of Juices
2 cups Monterrey Jack Cheese Shredded
1 cup Sour Cream
1 Cup Plain Yogurt
1 Cup Chopped Cilantro
6 Kaiser Rolls
Instructions
Per heat your grill on high. Combine beef, garlic salt, black pepper, cumin and green chilies in large bowl. Mix well. Separate mixture into 6 equal size balls. Split each ball in half. Take one half and flatten into a good sized patty. Place a generous portion of cheese in the middle and the place the remaining beef mixture on top. Make sure that all cheese is sealed inside of the patties. Do this for the rest of the remaining beef mixture. Place burgers on grill and cook for 5 minutes a side or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees. While burgers are cooking combined sour cream, yogurt and cilantro in a bowl. Set aside. When burgers are finished place each one on a sliced Kaiser roll and top with the sour cream cilantro mixture and enjoy.
