Mexican Dip Burger With Fried jalapenos
Ingredients
- 2Pounds 80/20 chuck
- 1Tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 Tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 bag of
- fresh baby spinach
- 6 buttered brioche buns
- 1 -10 oz can original diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1 pkg 16oz block of processed cheese
- 3 medium jalapenos
- 1/4 Teaspoon cayenne
- 1 Cup of vegetable oil
- 1/4 Tablespoon pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon salt
- 2 Tablespoon melted butter
- 1 packet of taco seasoning
Instructions
- 1. In large bowl mix hamburger, garlic powder, salt, pepper, cayenne, and worcestershire together
- 2. Form 6 patties and lay to the side and brush each side with melted butter
- 3. Chop up the cheese into 1/4″ blocks and add 1 can of the diced tomatoes with green chilies.
- 4. Place on low flame, stirring frequently
- 5. When cheese is melted, add the one packet of taco seasoning and mix thouroughly
- 6. Place melted cheese mixture on top rack of your preheated grill to keep warm
- 7. Chop the jalapenos in 1/4″ slices, after removing the seeds
- 8. Turn side burner on high, place oil on
- 9. When temp reaches 370 place the jalapenos in the oil and fried until crisp
- 10. Place jalapenos on a wire rack to cool
- 11. Salt each side of burger and cook burgers for 5-6 minutes per half inch of thickness, or until temp reaches 160 Fahrenheit
- 12. Butter brioche buns and place on grill for 1 minute
- 13. When done, place burgers on top of bed of small baby spinach, top with the Mexican dip and jalapenos
