Mushroom Burger with Funghi Sauce

Reach for our Chardonnay when you’re in the mood for a rich and creamy wine that delights with the fruity flair of pear, apple, and peach.

Ingredients:

1 large yellow onion
6 tbsp olive oil
2 c sliced mushroom (white)
1/2 c heavy cream
1/4 c parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic
1/4 c white wine
1.5 # ground chuck
6 oz brie cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp white pepper
6 potato rolls (sliced)

Instructions:

-Caramelize onion-thinnly slice onion, add 2 tbsp olive oil to pan on medium heat, cook onion for 10 minutes stirring occasionally, reduce heat medium/low and cook for 10 additional minutes.
-1 tbsp olive oil in pan and cook chopped mushrooms on medium heat until golden brown approximately 8-10 minutes
-Funghi sauce-heat 3 tbsp olive oil on medium heat, cook pressed garlic for 45 seconds, add white wine cook for 2 minutes, add heavy cream and heat until bubbling, add parmesan cheese and stir, add 1/3 mushroom (chopped)
-mix ground chuck, caramelized onions, remaining mushroom (chopped) less 6 pcs, form 6 4/5 oz patties
-cook burger on grill 2/3 minutes per side flipping once, after grilling place burgers into funghi sauce and coat(if sauce has cooled warm but do not boil
-assemble burger- seved on potato roll-burger, brie, 1 slice mushroom, drizzle with funghi sauce
