Mushroom onion swiss burger

Ingredients

2 lbs. freshly ground chuck
Special Seasoning (recipe below)
1 cup Mayonaise
1 cup Ketchup
4 cups Mushrooms
3 Yellow Onions
6 slices Swiss Cheese
1 head Iceburg Lettuce
6 Cornmeal dusted Buns

Special Seasoning:
1 tsp. onion salt
1 tsp. garlic salt with parsley
3 tsp. Lawry’s seasoning salt
3/4 tsp. oregano
1/8 tsp. black pepper

 

Instructions

1-Get grill to medium-hot heat
2-Prepare ground chuck with special seasoning, mix
well, shape into 6 patties. Cover and set aside.
3-Chop onion, slice mushrooms, mix together and place
on foil in center of grill with 1 tlbs. butter and 1 tlbs. veg. oil. Cook until tender, remove, cover and set aside.
4-Chop lettuce, set aside.
5-Brush grill with veg. oil, place patties on rack, cover
and let cook for 5-7 each side, turning only once.
6-Place grilled mushrooms and onion on top of each
grilled patty, then cover each patty with a slice of swiss
cheese. Place buns cut side down on outer edge of grill
until lightly toasted. Remove patties when swiss cheese
is melted.

To Assemble:
Spread mayonaise on both sides of each bun
Place shredded lettuce on bottom of each bun
Place burger next on top of lettuce
Put ketchup on top side of bun
Top with bun and serve
