My Tex-Mex Homestyle Super Burger

This rich red easily complements your homemade chicken dishes, red meats, game, and mildly seasoned pastas.

Ingredients

2 pounds of ground chuck
6 tablespoons of tomato paste
1 cup of Italian bread crumbs
1 cup of Parmesan cheese
1 green bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
1 green onion
1 clove of garlic
3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
6 teaspoons of salt
6 teaspoons of pepper vegetable oil
12 slices of Texas Toast
6 teaspoons of butter
6 slices of Pepper Jack Cheese
3 red vine ripened tomatoes
3 tablespoons of Barebecue sauce

 

Instructions

Preheat outdoor grill to medium high heat. Take the two pounds of ground chuck and place it in large bowl along with the 6 tablespoons of tomato paste. Then mix with hands. In seperate bowl, mix 1 cup of Italian bread crumbs and 1 cup of Parmesan cheese. Then, mix this in with the ground chuck mixture. Next, mince the garlic clove and include it in ground chuck mixture. Drizzle in the three tablesppons of worcestershire sauce now. Season ground chuck with salt and pepper. Brush now grill ready rack with vegetable oil. Place the seperated six patties on grill rack and cook each side for five to eight minutes. Check patties with thermometer until 160 degrees is reached. Then place the Pepper Jack Cheese on each patty unitl melted. Toast the Texas Toast along side the melting patties on closed grill. Put one slice ot tomato on every patty when cheese is melted. Before placing the patties on toast make sure the Texas Toast is cooked to perfection while adding the tablesppon of butter for every other slice. Now you can assemble!
