Pairs well with:

Pinot Grigio

You won’t need a bouquet of flowers when you share our Pinot Grigio. This crisp wine with floral aromas is a wonderful way to make an entrance.

2 Tblsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp. salt

Bring first 7 ingredients to a boil for 3-5 minutes. Add the ground pecans or walnuts and 3 cups of rolled oats and return mixture to a boil. Remove from heat and allow to set for 5 minutes. Form into burgers while mixture is still hot by one of the following methods: 1. Using a burger press 2. Spooning mixture into a canning jar ring on an oiled cookie sheet. Press into jar ring with the back of a spoon. Remove jar ring and repeat. This will create uniform burgers. 3. I use a wet ice cream schoop to scoop mixture, pressing into oiled baking sheet. Bake at 350o for 30 minutes on first side. Flip burgers. Bake 15 minujtes on second side. You can also fry in a skillet that has been sprayed with olive oil spray.
