1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 tablespoon dried onion
1/3 cup chili sauce in jar
2/3 cup canned pumpkin pie mix
1 teaspoon montreal seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice mix seasoning
1/4 cup italian bread crumbs
6 onion hamburger buns
1/2 cup maple pancake syrup
6 slices cheddar cheese
6 slices of red delicious apple (cored)
18 baby spinach leaves



Heat charcoal grill briquettes until coals have turned to ash (approximately 30 minutes.)
Combine ground beef, dried onion, chili sauce, canned pumpkin, montreal seasoning, salt, pumpkin spice mix, bread crumbs together. Form meat mixture into six hamburger patties and cover with plastic wrap and chill for about half hour.
While burgers are chilling, place hamburger buns in aluminum foil and wrap up to form packet later to be placed on the grill.
Place chilled patties on preheated grill. Cool for 10-12 minutes. Flip burgers and continue to cook an additional 10-12 minutes along with the packet containing the hamburger buns.
Remove hamburgers from grill. Spread a little maple syrup on each side of the heated hamburger bun and assemble each burger with a slice of cheddar cheese, slice of apple and three spinach leaves.
