1 tablespoon freshly minced sage
1 teaspoon Bell’s seasoning for poultry
vegetable oil for the grill
2 Boston /New England Brown bread (canned!)
Boston Bibb lettuce

Instructions

Prepare a medium-hot fire in a charcoal grill with a cover, or preheat a gas grill to medium-high.
To make the chutney place the craisins and the water in a small saucepan. Place on grill set at medium high. Add rest of ingredients and stir. Cook 8-10 minutes stirring occasionally until mixture is almost dry looking. Remove from heat and let set until needed or refrigerate.
To make the patties, combine the turkey, 2 tablespoons of mayo, salt, pepper , the fresh herbs and Bell’s in a large bowl. Handling the meat as little as possible to avoid compacting it, mix well. Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and form the portions into patties to fit the Boston Brown Bread .
Brush the grill rack with oil. Place the patties on the rack, cover, and grill until browned on the bottoms, 3 to 4 minutes. Turn the patties and continue grilling until done to preference, about 5 minutes longer for medium. During the last few minutes of cooking, slice the brown bread into 12 1/2 inch slices . Brush the bottoms with the melted butter and carefully place the bread, cut side down, on the outer edges of the rack to toast lightly. Turn and repeat.
To make the cranberry-mayo topping mix the cranberry with the remaining mayo and blend.
To assemble the burgers place several leaves of the Boston Bibb on the bottom bread, a patty, and a couple of tablespoons of cranberry -mayo. Top with second slice of bread.
