Panzanella Americana Burger

1/2 c. extra virgin olive oil
3 T. of balsamic vinegar
2 fresh garlic cloves minced with garlic press
1 small finely chopped shallot
Kosher Salt to taste
Fresh pepper to taste
3 Beefsteak tomatoes cored and chopped into bite size pieces
1/2 c. of freshly packed sweet basil leaves
1 1/2 pounds of ground chuck
3 T. of Steak Seasoning
vegetable oil to brush grill
1 loaf of Ciabatta Bread cut into 1 inch slices
3 T of extra virgin olive oil



PANZANELLA Whisk 1/2c. extra virgin olive oil, 3T. balsamic vinegar, garlic and shallot in a large bowl. Season with a dash of Kosher salt and fresh pepper to taste. Add tomatoes and sweet basil. Toss and set aside to marinate 1 hour. AMERICANA BURGER Preheat gas grill to medium high. In a large bowl combine ground chuck and Candian Steak seasoning. Mix well. Divide ground chuck into 6 portions to create 6 hamburger patties. Bush grill with vegetable oil. Place patties on grill unitl both sides are browned about 4-5 minutes each side and thoroughly cooked. CIABATTA BREAD While the burgers are grilling. Drizzle olive oil on both sides of the Ciabatta Bread. Place on medium grill unitl lightly toasted. BURGER ASSEMBLY To assemble the burger, place 1 piece of Ciabatta Bread on plate. Add one burger and layer with Panzanella fixings. Place another Ciabatta slice on top and enjoy!
