This rich red easily complements your homemade chicken dishes, red meats, game, and mildly seasoned pastas.


3 lbs. of ground beef
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. Teriyaki sauce
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 red pepper
1/4 mayonnaise
1 lime
6 kaiser rolls
1 papaya



Mix together the ground beef, salt, pepper and teriyaki sauce. Form patties and brush the burgers with olive oil, then grill on medium heat for about 10 minutes each side. While the burgers are cooking sice the red pepper in half, take the seeds out and grill it for about 15 minutes or until limp. Mix together the mayonnaise and the juice from the lime and spread it on the top half of the bun. Slice the papaya into 12 slices and place two slices per burger on the mayonnaise mixture. Now slice the red pepper into 12 slices total and place two slices per burger on top of the papaya. Place the burger on the bottom half of the bun and add the top half of the bun and enjoy!!
