Pete’s Unique Burger

You won’t need a bouquet of flowers when you share our Pinot Grigio. This crisp wine with floral aromas is a wonderful way to make an entrance.

Ingredients

1. Ground Sirloin
2. Seasoned Salt (to taste)
3. 1 tbsp of liquid smoke
4. 1 medium onion/chopped
5. 1 whole garlic/chopped
6. 8 ounces of crumbled gorgonzola
7. Muenster cheese/grated
8. Fresh ground pepper
9. Fresh basil, chopped
10. 1 tsp oregano
11. 10 pieces of bacon (pre-cooked)
12. Tomatoes (sliced)
13. Ketchup
14. Mayonaise
15. Lettuce
16. Buns

 

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the ground sirloin, seasoned salt, liquid smoke, onion, garlic, gorgonzola, muenster cheese, ground pepper, basil and oregano. form into patties. On the grill, use some olive oil to keep burgers from sticking. Place the burgers on the grill. DO NOT PRESS the burgers with spatula. Cook on one side for about 4.5 minutes, then flip over and cook for another 3-4 minutes. While the burgers are cooking, put a little bit of olive oil on to the buns and place them on the grill, be sure not to burn them!! Take the burgers off the grill and put them aside. Take the buns off and spread some ketchup on the top and mayonaise on the bottom bun. Next, place the burger on to the bun. Add the tomato, then the lettuce. Place the top of the bun on the burger and ENJOY!!
