Ingredients

2 1/2 lbs of ground chuck
3 cloves garlic chopped
1tsp red pepper flakes
1tsp basil paste
1Tbsp seasoning salt
1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
12 slices mozzarella
1 jar prepared marinara
30 sliced pepperoni
6 wheat buns
Vegetable oil for grill

 

Instructions

Mix ground meat, garlic, red pepper,basil paste,parmesan cheese. Form into 6 patties and sprinkle with seasoning salt. When coals are ready place saucepan with marinara on grill to simmer, when hot remove and cover to keep warm. Brush grill with vegetable oil Place patties on grill and cook 8 minutes on first side and after 6 minutes place 5 pepperoni slices and one mozzarella cheese slice on each patty and cook until cheese is melted. Heat buns until toasted. Place 1Tbs of marinara on bottom bun with one slice mozzarella and then place hot patty on top with pepperoni side up. Place 2 Tbs of marinara on top bun and place on top
