Power Veg Burger

Ingredients

  • Whole wheat topped with sesseme seeds.
  • 6 numbers
  • INGREDIENTS FOR VEG PATTIES:
  • One Cup cooked and corsely mashed potato
  • One Cup grated beets, carrots, onion
  • combined
  • One half Cup peas
  • Five green chillies chopped
  • An inch piece of grated ginger
  • Handful of cleaned and cut coriander
  • One forth Cup cooking oil
  • One and one half Cup almond meal toasted at low mode on the gas stove.
  • The meal should be transferred to a bowl soon the aroma starts coming .
  • Make sure to maintain the color.
  • One half teaspoon turmeric powder
  • One half teaspoon Cumin powder
  • One and
  • teaspoon salt little more if necessary
  • RAW VEGETABLE FOR THE BURGER
  • Two sweet onions, 4 big ripe tomatoes sliced, two cucumbers sliced
  • Two Pounds sliced cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • 1. Keep a non stick, thick bottomed pan 14 inch size on a low to medium heat
  • 2. Add the oil after the pan is medium hot
  • 3.
  • When the oil hot enough (test it by throwing a piece of onion if it sizzles, its ready)
  • Add the ingredients one after the other in the given order in one – two minutes difference in timing.
  • 1. green chilli 2. ginger 3. onion 4. grated beetroot and carrots.
  • 4. When the vegetables are wilting, add turmeric powder, cumin powder and half of the salt.
  • 5. Add the mashed potatoes and fold it to combine
  • 6. Now add the almond meal.
  • 7. Now add the rest of the salt and coriander leaves and fold it.
  • The dough for the patty is ready.
  • Divide the patty dough in to 12 equal portions.
  • Flat every portion into 2.5 inch diameter.
  • Now cook the patties on medium hot pan and flip it both sides till it is golden brown.
  • COOL IT IN A COOLING RACK
  • PATTIES ARE READY.
  • NOW
  • The twelve halves of buns to be placed open side up on the pan and brushed with little butter and toasted
  • Take them out and arrange them on a wooden plate
  • On six buns the assembly should be done the following order
  • 1.
  • onion slice 2. tomatoe slice
  • 3. veg patty 4. cheese 5. cucumber 6. veg patty 7. cheese 8. tomato 9. onion
  • NOW COVER ALL THE ARRANGEMENTS WITH ONE BUN ON TOP OF ALL OF THEM TO FINISH THE BURGER.
  • Secure them with a skewer .
