Red White and Blue Burger Bliss

Pairs well with:

Bright and full-bodied, this Zinfandel wine is a curious contradiction in tastes.

2 lbs Natural Ground Beef
1/2 cup Blue Cheese Crumbles
2 cups Cherry Salsa
2 cups Plain Yogurt
4 slices Brie Cheese
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Salt
3/4 teaspoon Pepper
Lettuce for topping
Tomato for topping
German Mustard – one tube
Bun – 4

In a bowl combine 2 lbs natural ground beef with 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper and form into 4 burgers. While forming, insert a few blue cheese crumbles into the center of the burger. Bring to room temperture. Drian cherry salsa and combine with yogurt. Place burgers directly on hot grill and add the buns to the top shelf while cooking. Once burgers are done medium (some pink) add brie to each burger and close grill top with heat off to melt. Remove from grill with warm buns. Place bottom bun on plate, add lettuce, tomato, mustard, burger, cherry salsa yogurt mix and top bun. Repeat three more times and enjoy!
