Sassy Southern Burger

Bright and full-bodied, this Zinfandel wine is a curious contradiction in tastes.


1 lb lean ground beef
1 package Onion Soup mix
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 cup steak sauce
3 tablespoons hot sauce
1/2 cup diced onions
Package of fresh onion rolls
4 slices cheese (cheddar or American your choice)
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon mayo
1 tablespoon ketchup
4 kosher garlic dill pickles (sandwich style)



Heat grill to medium heat Dice onions Empty ground beef in large mixing bowl Empty onion soup mix into bowl Pour BBQ sauce in bowl Pour steak sauce in bowl Add hot sauce add diced onions to bowl Mix thoroughly Seperate ground beef mixture into 4 large patties make sure the center is not thicker then outside or burger will be too pink. Make it even and flat Add hamburger patties to grill on medium heat Leave on grill until bottom is a medium brown (about 10 minutes) then flip burger Leave burger on grill another 10 minutes (check to make sure it is medium brown) Turn grill to low and leave burger inside for 5 more minutes Add cheese slice to top of each burner and leave on low for 1-2 min until cheese is melted Remove burger from grill and put on Onion roll Add condiments to liking Enjoy!
