Sausage & Peppers Burger

2 Green Peppers
1 1/2 lb gr. hot italian sausage(removed from casing)
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped gr. pepper
3 T balsamic vinager
1 T minced garlic
1/ t. salt
1/2 t. black pepper
Lg Ripe Tomato
6 sl. Provolone cheese Vidalia onion (cut into 6 thick slices)
olive oil
balsamic vinager
salt & pepper
6 Burger rolls



1. Heat grill to high 2. Place green pepper directly over heat and roast until black. 3. In a large bowl, mix together the next seven ingredients. 4. Shape into six patties. 5. Remove peppers and set aside to cool. 6. Turn grill down to med.-high. 7. Place burgers on grill and cook 7-9 minutes. 8. Sprinkle vidalia with olive oil, balsamic vinager, salt & pepper. 9. Place onion slices on grill.Cook from a few minutes on each. (Carmelized with good grill marks) 9. Flip burgers and cook another 6-8 minutes. 10.Place a slice of tomatoe and a slice of cheese on each burger. Cover until melted. 11.Remove onion slices and burgers to platter. 12.Peel blackened skin from roasted pepper and slice. 13.Lightly toast rolls on grill. 14.To assemble, place burger on roll and top with slices of roasted pepper and a slice of grilled onion. 15.Enjoy!!!!
