Bright and full-bodied, this Zinfandel wine is a curious contradiction in tastes.

Ingredients

1lb ground 85% beef
1/4 cup scapes (garlic stalks) chopped
1/4 cup chopped portabello mushroom
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped japeno pepper
1/2 teaspoon kopsher salt

 

Instructions

Take all of the above and mix together, form 4 patties. Allow to sit for 1/2 hour, then grill to perfection.
