Ingredients

1 pound ground sirloin or beef 93%
1 1/2 pounds of ground chuck
1 15 oz can of Tomato Sauce
1/2 cup Dark brown sugar
1 cup  Mayonnaise
1/2 cup Dark Corn Syrup
2 teaspoons of Cajun seasoning
2 teaspoons of Oregano flakes
2 teaspoons of parsley flakes
1/2 teas of garlic salt
1 Tbsp Soy Suace
2 Tbsp Spicy Brown mustard
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/8 teaspoon of chili powder
6 Kaiser rolls or square artisan rolls from the bakery.
1/2 stick salted butter for the rolls, room temperature.

Instructions

In a large bowl combine both meats. In another large bowl prepare the sauce by combining the remaining ingredients. Add 3/4 cup of sauce to the meat mixture. Mix well. Form 6 large burgers. Prepare a charcoal grill. Lightly grease you grill rack. Put you burgers on the outside of the rack to cook slowly. Here's the best part. Start slathering the sauce. The more the better. It is important not to put the burgers on high heat or you will not get the same effect with the sauce. Turn when you see the burgers slightly done and then slather the other side. Use all the sauce. Keep the burgers on the edge of the grill. You can even put the lid down if vented. While the burgers are finishing up, butter your rolls. Bring to the grill and put the rollls in the center of the grill. Watch very carefully as they will brown very quickly. Remove the rolls when slightly brown on edges and put the "Sensational slathered" burgers on the buns and serve.
