Sicilian Burger

one pound beef
fresh basil leaves
fresh garlic fresh
Italian Parsley
one egg
Roasted Garlic Bread Crumbs
Vodka Marinara Sauce
Marinated Artichoke Hearts
Fresh Mozzarella
Ciabatta Bread



1. Put your ground beef into a mixing bowl. 2. Add one egg to the beef. 3. Add a 1/2 cup of roasted garlic bread crumbs to the mixture. 4. Mince 2 garlic cloves and add to the mixture. 5. Chop a 1/4 cup of each: basil leaves and italian parsley and add to the mixture. 6. Using your hands mix all the ingredients together. 7. Form 4 patties out of the mixture. 8. Add the patties to the grill and cook to about 155 degrees. 9. Well the burgers are grilling – dice a 1/2 cup of marinated artichokes. 10. When the burger reach 155 degrees take about a tablespoon of the vodka sauce and spread it over the burger. 11. Next add a tablespoon of the diced artcihokes. 12. Top with fresh mozzarella cheese. 13. Cover the burugers with a lid and let stand for about 5 minutes – just long enough for the cheese to melt and the burger to reach 160 degrees. 14. Cut the ciabatta bread in half length wise and place a burger in-between the bread slices. 15. Enjoy!!
