Sir Avapeno’s Beautiful Burger

Bright and full-bodied, this Zinfandel wine is a curious contradiction in tastes.


1 lb ground sirloin
1 med. white onion (minced)
2 sm. jalapenos (minced)
2T minced garlic
1 egg 2 lg. tomatoes (sliced thin)
2 avocados (cleaned, smashed)
2c shredded monterey jack
1/2t salt
1T bl pepper
4 ciabatta rolls



Light grill. In a large mixing bowl combine sirloin, onion, jalapeno, garlic, salt, and egg. Mix well. Divide into 4 equal patties. Place on hot grill. Next, combine smashed avocados and bl. pepper, cover set in fridge. Slice rolls horizontally, set aside. When burgers are about done, spread avacado mixture onto top of rolls then add thinly sliced tomatos. Burger construction from bottom up is as follows: bottom of roll, burger, shredded cheese,slice of tomato, avocado spread, top of roll.
