Smokey Greek Burgers

Ingredients

Sauce:
3 tablespoons chipotle pepper sauce
1/4 cup sun dried tomatoes, finely chopped
½ cup mayonnaise
Patties:
3 tablespoons chipotle pepper sauce
¼ cup sun dried tomatoes, finely chopped
¾ cups feta cheese, crumbled
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 pounds ground beef
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons pepper
½ cup water
3 teaspoons vegetable oil
1/3 cup olive oil
6 ciabatta hamburger buns
½ cup feta cheese, crumbled

 

Instructions

In small bowl combine 3 tablespoons chipotle pepper sauce, ¼ cup sun dried tomatoes and mayonnaise. Mix well. Set aside. In large bowl combine remaining chipotle pepper sauce, remaining sun dried tomatoes, cheese, garlic, ground beef, salt, pepper and water. Mix well. Shape into 6 patties. Grease grill with vegetable oil. Grill burgers over low heat for 20-30 minutes. Drizzle olive oil on buns and grill until warm. Spread chipotle mixture on buns. Place burger on buns and crumble remaining feta on top. Place burger on top and serve.
