Ingredients

2 pounds ground chuck
1/2 cup of minced red onion
1 tablespoon minced fresh jalepeno
3 tablespoons minced fresh thyme, basil and cilantro
1/2 cup of coconut milk
1 tablespoon Grey Poupon Mustard
1 teaspoon curry powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
 Vegetable oil, for brushing on the grill rack
6 (41/2-inch)soft Kaiser rolls,split
6 romaine lettuce leaves
6 (1/4-inch-thick) large tomato slices

 

Instructions

Prepare a medium-hot fire in a charcoal grill with a cover, or preheat a gas grill to medium-high. To make patties combine the beef,onions, jalepeno,herbs,coconut milk, mustard,curry powder, salt and pepper in a large bowl.Handling the meat as litle as possible to avoid compacting it, mix well.Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and form the portions into patties to fit the rolls. Brush the grill rack with oil. Place the patties on the rack, cover, and grill until browned on the bottoms,4 to 5 minutes. Turn the patties and continue grilling until done to preference, about another 5 to 6 minutes longer. To assemble the burgers, on each roll bottom, place a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, a patty.Add the roll tops and serve. Make 6 burgers
