Ingredients

1 Jar Barbecue Sauce (15.5 oz KC Masterpiece Classic Blend)
10 oz Coca Cola
1 Large Yellow Onion
1 1/2 Tbsp Colavita EVOO
3 Ripe Peaches (Approx 1 cup coarsely diced)
1/2 tsp Fresh Ground Nutmeg
1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Sutter Home Chardonnay
1 Beaten Egg
3/4 Tbsp Salt
3 lb Fresh Ground Chuck
4 Tbsp Butter
Oil for Grill Grate
6 Kaiser Rolls
6 Heaping Tbsp Herb Brie (approx 4 to 5 oz)
6 Crisp Leafs Iceberg Lettuce

Instructions

Preheat the grill to medium high

Topping Sauce: Mix the barbecue sauce and Coca Cola together in a medium pan on the grill and simmer for approximately 30 minutes and set aside.

Topping: Cut the onion in half and slice and place in a pan on the grill and sauté with olive oil until lightly caramelized. Clean and course chop the peaches and place in with the onions. Add nutmeg, sugar and 1/4 cup of the wine. Simmer until peaches are soft and wine is cooked down.

Burger: Beat the egg in a large bowl then mix in the remaining 1/4 cup wine as well as salt. Next, thoroughly mix the ground beef with the softened butter and then the egg, wine and salt. Separate the meat mixture into 6 equal lightly formed balls and form to a size that is approximately the same as the rolls.

Grilling: Apply oil to the grill grate. Cut Kaiser rolls in half ready for toasting on the grill. Place meat patties on the grill over medium high heat and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes. Carefully turn and cook the second side for about another 4 to 6 minutes. Note that cooking time may vary depending on grill temperatures and “hot spots” of each grill. A minute or so after turning the burgers, generously coat one side of the burger with the sauce as a glaze.

Place the Kaiser rolls, cut side down, on the grill, lightly toast and remove from the grill. A couple of minutes prior to removing the burger from the grill, top each burger with a heaping Tbsp of Brie cheese.

Place two pieces of crisp lettuce on the bottom 1/2 of the toasted Kaiser roll.
Remove from the grill and place the burger directly on the lettuce. Generously apply the Southern Peach topping to the burger and top with the toasted Kaiser roll. Slice as desired and serve immediately. Enjoy.
