Spiced Shrimp Slaw Burger
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 Pounds 80/20 Ground Beef
- 8-10 oz Ground Italian Sausage
- Fresh Parsley, chopped
- Thyme
- Brazilian Steak House Marinade
- Smoked Cheddar Cheese, sliced
- 1 PoundBacon
- 4 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
- 2 Tablespoon Bourbon, for glazing bacon
- 3 Cups Slaw Mix
- 1/2 Cup Mayo
- 3 Tablespoon Lime Juice
- 21 Seasoning
- Few splashes… Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 PoundJumbo Shrimp
- Cajun Season
- Red Pepper
- Clarified Butter
- Minced Garlic
- Tomato, sliced
- Salt
- Pepper
- Season All
- Side Dish: Loaded Cheese Potatoes
Instructions
- For Burgers: Place ground beef, sausage in a bowl and mix together. Add in fresh parsley, thyme, and marinade. Form patties. Marinate for 25 mins. In a cast iron, sear patties for 3-5 mins per side. Add cheese and set in a warming oven.
- Bacon: Place bacon on a baking sheet and sprinkle sugar. Drizzle bourbon on each piece. Bake in the oven for 10-15 mins at 350’F until slightly crisp.
- Slaw: In a bowl add slaw mix. In a small bow make dressing. Add mayo, and lime juice. Stir until smooth. Add Worcestershire sauce and 21 seasoning. Add salt and Pepper to taste.
- Shrimp: Clean and de-vein. Sear shrimp on med heat with a little clarified butter. Add minced garlic and a little parsley. Add in a little cajun seasoning and red pepper for a little spice. Set aside.
- Slice tomato and season with season all and pepper
