Spiced Shrimp Slaw Burger

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 Pounds 80/20 Ground Beef
  • 8-10 oz Ground Italian Sausage
  • Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • Thyme
  • Brazilian Steak House Marinade
  • Smoked Cheddar Cheese, sliced
  • 1 PoundBacon
  • 4 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoon Bourbon, for glazing bacon
  • 3 Cups Slaw Mix
  • 1/2 Cup Mayo
  • 3 Tablespoon Lime Juice
  • 21 Seasoning
  • Few splashes… Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 PoundJumbo Shrimp
  • Cajun Season
  • Red Pepper
  • Clarified Butter
  • Minced Garlic
  • Tomato, sliced
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Season All
  • Side Dish: Loaded Cheese Potatoes

Instructions

  • For Burgers: Place ground beef, sausage in a bowl and mix together. Add in fresh parsley, thyme, and marinade. Form patties. Marinate for 25 mins. In a cast iron, sear patties for 3-5 mins per side. Add cheese and set in a warming oven.
  • Bacon: Place bacon on a baking sheet and sprinkle sugar. Drizzle bourbon on each piece. Bake in the oven for 10-15 mins at 350’F until slightly crisp.
  • Slaw: In a bowl add slaw mix. In a small bow make dressing. Add mayo, and lime juice. Stir until smooth. Add Worcestershire sauce and 21 seasoning. Add salt and Pepper to taste.
  • Shrimp: Clean and de-vein. Sear shrimp on med heat with a little clarified butter. Add minced garlic and a little parsley. Add in a little cajun seasoning and red pepper for a little spice. Set aside.
  • Slice tomato and season with season all and pepper
