Instructions

To make All American Sauce, combine BBQ sauce, Mayonnaise, Prepared Mustard and ground mustard in small bowl. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate until serving.

To make Patties, Mix beef, soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, pepper, and sage in large bowl until ingredients are thoroughly combined. Divide mixture evenly into 6 patties, being careful not to compress tightly.

Heat grill to medium-high heat, oil grates lightly with vegetable oil. Place patties on direct heat, and onion slices on indirect heat, cooking 6 minutes on each side. During last 2 minutes of cooking place buns, cut side down, on indirect heat of grill. Add Cheese to patties and close grill for remaining cooking time.

To assemble burgers, spread cut sides of buns with generous amount of All American Sauce. On each bun bottom place 1/2 cup shredded romaine lettuce, one slice of grilled onion, patty and one tomato slice. Add bun tops and serve.
