Spicy & Sweet Beef Burgers

Pairs well with:

White Zinfandel

With strawberry and melon essences, this American original is perfectly at home with however you like to unwind.

Ingredients

2 lb ground chuck
1 medium onion diced
1/2 cup quick oats
1 egg
2 tbls Nature's Seasonings
1/3 cup Worcestershire Sauce
1 and 1/2 tsp chili powder
1 minced garlic clove
8 slices pepper jack cheese (low fat)
8 crusty kaiser rolls cut in half
1 tomato sliced thin head of romaine lettice washed and seperated raspberry vinagarette dressing
2tbls apple cider vinegar
1 tbls dijon mustard
1 tsp Nature's Seasonings
1/2 cup raspberry yogurt
2 tsp honey
2 tsp olive oil

 

Instructions

Make the Raspberry Vinagarette dressing (wisk well) and chill for 1 hour Mix the first 8 ingrediants well in a bowl and form into 8 patties Spray non stick cooking spray on grill and heat on medium. cook burgers 4 minutes with lid closed on one side and flip. Cook another 4 minutes or until done. Top each burger with a slice of Pepper jack Cheese Place on grill away from heat the buns to toast slightly while cheese is melting. Spread the Raspberry Vinagarette thinly on both sides of each bun on bottom of bun, layer first the lettice then the tomato and then the burger
