Spicy Buffalo Chicken Burger
Ingredients
2 pounds fresh ground chicken, well chilled
1 stalk celery, finely chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 cup plain bread crumbs
1 cup bottled hot wing sauce, divided
1 cup prepared bleu cheese dressing
1 stalk celery, finely chopped
6 large kaiser rolls
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, 1 stalk celery, onion, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, cayenne pepper, bread crumbs and 3 Tablespoons of the hot wing sauce. Mix well with hands or large spoon until combined. Cover bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
While mixture chills, mix bleu cheese dressing and 1 stalk finely chopped celery well in a small bowl. Cover and chill.
Preheat gas grill to med hi heat.
Remove ground chicken mixture from refrigerator and form into 6 equal patties. Grill for about 3 minutes on each side or until juices run clear and burgers are firm, basting with remaining hot wing sauce on each side as patties cook. Remove patties from grill and place each on a kaiser roll. Top each burger with 2 Tablespoons of the bleu cheese sauce.
